Fans desperate for an early glimpse at Kelly Clarkson’s upcoming fifth album are in luck!

The ‘American Idol’ singer has confirmed she’ll be performing her brand new single ‘Mr Know It All’ live in front of a sell-out crowd at Australia’s National Rugby League Grand Final next month!

Returning Down Under following her ‘All I Ever Wanted Tour’ in 2010, the fiery popstar will take to the stage at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium ahead of kick-off on Sunday October 2.

"Kelly Clarkson is a great fit for the league given the broad support she has," NRL spokesman Paul Kind told The Daily Telegraph,

"She appeals to 8 to 80-year-olds and a lot of women."

Meanwhile, chatting about her hot new single in a behind-the-scenes clip for VEVO News, the ‘Miss Independent’ star, revealed,

“The song is about variety.

“The whole point of the song … I love the concept that ‘you don’t know a thing about me.’ It’s ignorant to think you know everything about me. There are so many different sides to everybody’s personality and there are different colours.

“This shows the varieties of Kelly.”
