That’s right Twi-hards – ‘Eclipse’ is almost here!
And in honour of our favourite blood-sucking saga, MTV has gone behind the scenes to bring you all the latest news and juicy gossip from the highly anticipated third ‘Twilight’ movie.
Kicking off with the question that’s on everyone's lips is Robsten – are they or aren’t they?
Well with rumours buzzing about the pair’s off-screen relationship, sources have revealed that it was during the re-shoots of ‘Eclipse’ that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart really started to heat things up.
Despite their best attempts to keep their feelings for each other under wraps, insiders says their visit to Vancouver to re-do the film’s ‘tent scene’ doubled up as a romantic get-away for the couple.
Sources told Ok! that despite each having their own 1,600-square-foot suite on the 34th floor of the Sheraton Wall Centre, “Kristen’s room remained untouched for the duration of Rob’s stay.
“She stayed in Rob’s room the whole time he was in Vancouver.”
A ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign was also put on the co-star’s door to stop anyone from entering — even maids. And bottles of red wine were delivered to their floor and R-Patz ordered orange juice, candied salmon and herb crackers from room service.
And while their cast members have been keeping mum about the pair’s blossoming relationship – ‘Twilight’ producer Wyck Godfrey has spoken out about the happy couple.
“Oh my God, I hope they stay together,” he told Time.
“Because it could be awkward on set in the next movie if they have a huge falling out. It's like, wow, they have to portray this love story through two more movies. God, I hope they stay together; please stay together.”
Meanwhile it wasn’t all love and affection behind the scenes.
Actress Bryce Dallas Howard , who plays female vampire Victoria in the new release, has revealed she upset producers when she turned up for filming with dyed hair.
She tells WENN, "I think I flew out on a Monday or Tuesday to go and do the role. That Friday (before) I had dyed my hair really dark. My natural hair colour is kind of like an orange red, which is what's depicted in the book.
"When I showed up, they (producers) were like, 'This is not the girl we hired!' Shooting had to start pretty quickly, so I wore a wig."
And whilst she may have fixed her hair – there was more drama to come when the stunner dislocated her wrist during a fight scene with Rob’s character Edward Cullen.
She tells The Daily Star, “There’s a massive battle at the end where Edward and Victoria really face off, and obviously that becomes a huge spectacle with two vampires fighting one another. There’s a lot of swiping, grabbing, throwing, tackling. It’s totally a brawl. Everybody had bruising, but I dislocated my wrist.
“The most scary thing was definitely fighting Robert. God forbid I hit his face – teenage girls would never forgive me!”
And while his face was kept in tact (thank goodness!) the hunky Brit did end up with one injury on set.
The star, who was keen to get his fangs in perfect blood-sucking condition, chipped his tooth after too much flossing!
Although it sounds like he had a lucky escape compared to co-star Taylor Lautner.
The abtastic hottie was left in agony after volunteering to carry K-Stew for a scene which took all day.
Producers had attached the slim brunette to a harness so it would LOOK like he was carrying her – but Taylor decided to flex his muscles and haul his co-star himself to make the scene look convincing.
But he later regretted his decision…
He told MTV, “We got there on the day and the rig didn’t look very natural. They were like, ‘What are we going to do?’ and I’m like, ‘I’ll just carry her. She’s like, what, 11 pounds? It’s no big deal!
“We filmed that scene all day long. Did the wide shot, did my close-up, did her close-up, the back shot, everything. It was so hard. It was painful.”
