After confirming to MTV News that he WON’T be swapping his acting roots for music anytime soon - Robert Pattinson
has left the way clear for singing sensation Bruno Mars
to shine on the brand new ‘Twilight’ soundtrack!
“We’re happy to announce exclusively on BrunoMars.com that Bruno’s new song ‘It Will Rain’ will be featured on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack,” read an official statement.
The 25-year-old, who’s nominated for four gongs at the ‘MTV EMA 2011,’ follows in the footsteps of the likes of Paramore, Muse and Linkin Park, who’ve all previously lent their vocals to the popular vampire saga.
And while Twi-hards will have to wait until November to see Edward, Bella, Jacob and co back on the big screen together in ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 1, you’ll be able to check out Bruno’s hot new release when ‘It Will Rain’ drops on September 27.
As for who else is pipped to appear – well, for now the flick’s director Bill Condon is keeping tight-lipped.
“We’re just figuring out [the soundtrack] now,” he told MTV News. “We have a lot of [songs]. We have like 15, I think.”
