We love the King Of Pop and to celebrate his awesomeness we have some excellent Jackson programming coming up over the next few days.
To kick things off MTV Classic will premiere ‘The Top 20 Jackson Family Countdown: With Jermaine Jackson’ on June 25 @ 9:00pm (AEST). Jermaine sits down with MTV to talk us through some of the Jackson’s most iconic songs, including ’Beat It’,’ Thriller’, Billie Jean’, ‘I Want You Back’, ‘Don’t Worry You’ and ‘ABC’ just to name a few.
MTV will join in the 'Jackson loving' with the 2009 BET Awards on Friday June 25 @ 9:30pm (AEST) - a nonstop party, where the biggest artists and trailblazers gather under one roof to celebrate the achievements of the most influential African Americans in music, acting, sports and entertainment.
The 2009 Awards was the biggest in history, with more stars, more music lovin’ and an unprecedented outpouring of support from the music industry. Join R&B and hip hop megastars Ne-Yo, Ciara, New Edition, and host Jamie Foxx as they perform some of their favourite Michael Jackson songs.
Then on Saturday June 26 @ 12:00pm (AEST), MTV Classic will feature 'Famous Crime Scene: Michael Jackson’. In this episode we follow LAPD detectives in their investigation of the sudden and shocking death of the King of Pop. Who will be responsible for this music legend s tragic and controversial death?
