The ‘2009 MTV Video Music Awards' red carpet had sexy celebs aplenty - but not everyone got it right on the night.
Here are our 'Top-10 Crimes Against Fashion'.
Amber-Rose takes snakeskin print to a new level with this head-to-toe spandex bodysuit - at least we'll be able to see if she swallows Kanye.

This Canadian cutie obviously didn't get the memo about blending in with this year's colour scheme. Instead she opted for this neon ensemble. On the upside she won't get lost in the dark.

This one is the biggest crime. Not because it's the worst outfit, but this 'Twilight' hottie was an official red carpet fashion host and we were expecting much much more. Ash had several outfit changes - all equally as bland.

Whoa! Matching eyes, dress and shoes, plus transparent cut out panels. Jade should stick to wearing outfits created by true fashionistas.

Oh J-Lo... When did crushed velvet come back into style? Maybe she was aiming for retro? But instead she just looks like a throw back from Melrose Place (the original).

We can see where the rap gal was coming from, wanting to pay tribute to the late Aaliyah and all, but couldn't she have saved the T-shirt for a less glam event? Those ill-fitting sequined pants and tacky shoes are a fashion faux-pas too far.
Hmmm, Julia Roberts' character in Pretty Woman springs to mind when we look at this bondage leather ensemble. P!nk on the other hand showed us how this outfit could be a true red carpet winner.
At first glance you might think this was the cast shot for the 'Real Housewives Of Dallas'. These reality starlets went too tanned, too high, and well, too tacky for such a classy event - next time stay in 'The Hills' ladies.
Doesn't Lo Bosworth look great? For a 47-year-old librarian? Oh, hang on, what do you mean she's one of the glamorous, young 'The Hills' gals who hangs out in super-stylish circles and has her pick of LA's most fashionable boutiques?
Ok we get that your a 'Cheetah Girl', but this banana coloured animal print is really taking things too far. Team it with expanses of nuclear orange tan, market stall boots, scraped back hair, and OTT makeup and it looks so wrong we could cry.
So... Are these true fashion crimes? Or should these fashion faux pas be given a royal pardon? Let us know by commenting below.
