JT And Brit Almost Reunite On Stage

Revived chart star Britney Spears joined Madonna on stage during the LA leg of her 'Sticky And Sweet' tour last week.

Although the planned duet was the music industry's worst kept secret, audiences still feigned authentic surprise when Brits came out halfway through the show and the pair performed 'Human Nature' together. Up until recently, Brit's 'presence' on the tour has been via a pre-recorded short video that was broadcast on screens during the show.  It's the first time the pair have appeared on stage together in person since their infamous pash at the MTV VMAs in 2003. 

What audiences weren't expecting was an appearance from Mr Sexy Back himself Justin Timberlake; he took to the stage with Madonna later in the evening, performing their number one hit '4 minutes'. There's no word on whether Timberlake and Brits actually interacted much backstage, but by all accounts the time was not yet right for the once-intimate stars to share the same stage together.

What Madonna may not have predicted was that by sheparding younger, sexier stars on stage with her, Brit and Justin unfortunately highlighted all of Mads 50 years.  Spears restrained, yet stylish stage clobber contrasted in a startling manner to Mads sinewy gym-buffed body unfortunately all the obsessive gym action she can cram into a day isn't going to change the fact she's a 50-year-old in a leotard!

Madonna recently signed a 10-year contract with Live Nation valued at around $120 million and a major component of the deal is that Madge has to go out on tour at least three times in the next decade. At least we can be thankful she hasn't done a Cher and donned a sequin g-string on stage should we be touching wood?
