Megan Gale Fights For Her Tights

When do you suppose Beyonce gets any shut eye? With an album due for release, a tour in the pipeline and the super hero aspirations, B is sure a busy girl of late. 

Recently, Beyonce has stated that she has her sights set on the role of Wonder Woman. She told the Los Angeles Times: "I want to do a superhero movie, and what would be better than Wonder Woman? After doing these roles that were so emotional, I was thinking to myself: 'OK, I need to be a superhero."

She added, 'a black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing.  It sure would be handy to have that lasso." 

Besides, wearing gravity-defying bustiers and short shorts isn't really a stretch for the 'Bootalicious' star, and we're sure she'll look smashing yeilding a 'magic whip'. Since she has a habit of taking her stage costumes home for sexy-time with Jay Z, we're sure he'll have no fobiles with the get up. 

Since first delving into movie-land a few years ago as Foxy Cleopatra in the Austin Powers franchise, B has had her fingers firmly wedged into the cinematic-offering pie.  More recently, she was nominated for a Golden Globe following her role in 'Dreamgirls'. 

What makes all this interesting is that Australian model Megan Gale was initially set to star as Wonder Woman in a Hollywood adaptation of 'The Justice League'.  Megan said that the film is "in hiatus" because of funding and timing obstacles and actors have been "let go" for now.  According to Who Weekly, Megan said "I feel very protective of the roll - I chnaged a lot of my life to revolve around it, but if someone snaffles it from me, there's nothing I can do."  We propose a Wonder Woman Whip-off to settle the score! Our bets are on Megan... 

In other Beyonce news, the singer has said she is amazed at the amounts of moolah she was offered to pawn off her wedding picies, but insists she was never tempted to sell the gory details.

"Now, they offer crazy money that's just ridiculous," she said in a recent interview, laughing. "But in the end, absolutely not. It's so not worth it. If anything, if you wanna put something out, then put it out, not for (money).

"We worked really hard at keeping it private," she said. "I've always been this way, and he's always been this way, so that's why we complement each other. We always knew that it would be private and quiet, for all the right reasons."  

B usually spends a lot of time NOT talking about Jay Z, but has recently broken her infamous silence in an interview with Essence (read story here).  Does she know the more she holds out details the more we wanna know?!
