- MTV Pick: Greatest Love Songs Ever!

Who Said Love Had To Be Romantic?

According to starpulse.com, a UK website called Onepoll.com just did a survey to find out the greatest love songs ever made.

Bryan Adams '(Everything I Do) I Do It For You' took out the top spot, Bon Jovi 'Always' comes in a close second, 'I Will Always Love You' by Whitney Houstin clocked in at third, while Aerosmith's 'I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing' and Celene Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On' charted in at fourth and fifth respectively.

Much respect and love to the golden oldies 'n all, but we thought it appropriate to expand on this list and include some songs you may not see on traditional love song inventories.

In the process of surveying and digging for adoration-serving faves, we discovered that not every 'great' love song needs to necessarily profess undying love for the benefactor.

In fact, some of the most effectual and love-lorn tunes don't allude to passion in the traditional sense at all.  Confused?  Don't be.  Just dim the lights, secure your significant other to the bed post with a sturdy set of handcuffs and crank these puppies right up.

Here's MTVs pick of best love songs.  Enjoy.

The Cramps - 'Can Your Pussy Do The Dog?'

Nine Inch Nails - 'Closer'

Lil Kim - 'How Many Licks'

Peaches - "F*ck The Pain Away"

Meatloaf - 'Paradise By The Dashboard Light'
