Roll up, roll up, one and all, L.A's favourite 'Circus' has opened its doors and invited you in!

Where's the big top you ask? Why, it's not just any circus, it's a candid peak inside one of the biggest productions in the world. Yes folks, it's inside the life of the always fascinating Ms. Britney Spears!

In the course of a decade, Britney Spears has gone from America's virginal sweetheart to wife and mother to an umbrella-wielding maniac and back to what appears to be a very honest and shaken young woman.

MTV has just filmed a very truthful and heart-wrenching 90-minute special documentary on the troubled life of the pop princess titled 'Britney: For The Record'.

In the doco, the star dishes sincerely from the heart tales of being a prisoner in her own existence, with sad confessions of her life as a reoccurring dream and her marriage with back up dancer K-Fed.

"There's no excitement, there's no passion. I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail, y'know, there's the time when you're gonna get out. But in this situation, it's never ending. It's just like Groundhog Day every day,' the star reveals.

Spears then delves into her problematic relationships, capturing her thoughts when entering her second marriage, "I think I married for the wrong reasons. Instead of following my heart and doing something that made me really happy, I just did it for the idea of [marriage and] everything."

Britney has been on the mend over the last six months with her father Jamie Spears taking reigns in her life legally (click here to read story) and being granted visitation rights to her two sons after losing custody of the tots in a heart breaking affair earlier this year.

The life of Britney Spears has been a circus for the gossip hungry tabs, which is the fitting title for the starlet's new album which is set to drop in two weeks. However the highly anticipated 'Circus' has been mysteriously leaked in its entirety online just before its release. There has yet to be a comment from the Spears camp but reviews for the online media sphere have been quite positive.

Things could be looking up for the pop princess, with the support of her family and her strong fan base there's no doubt we will see a triumphant return to her thrown with a comeback tour in the works which includes Australia!
