David Beckham’s hardly renowned for his rapping skills – but Snoop Dogg has revealed he truly rates the footy player’s musical ear!
In fact, the ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ star, who’s BFF’s with Posh’s other-half, values his opinion so much, that he’s often the first one to hear his new material.
In a chat with Radio 1’s Scott Mills, the rapper said of the LA Galaxy player,
“When I make my records, he's one of the first people I send the record to before it's done, even before the label get it.
“I love our friendship and some people in life just come together for some odd reason.
"Me and him came together on one night and we just became friends and we've just been friends ever since."
Meanwhile, Becks isn’t the hip hop mogul’s only high profile buddy.
The bad boy singer also has a soft spot for troubled hitmaker Amy Winehouse, and says he desperately tried to reach out to her when she hit rock bottom.
“When she was going through that little phase I was trying to be a friend,” he added to Radio 1.
"[I told her] 'Come to the studio with me and I'll get your spirit back right and get you back in the right mode and the right mentality.’”
But, sadly for Snoop, the ‘Back To Black’ star wasn’t interested in his agony aunt routine.
"It didn't happen,” he said. “But she did get her life back right.”
