Jessica Simpson is planning an explosive pop comeback!
The busty blonde, who abandoned her cheesy pop anthems for country music in 2008– is keen to return to her roots.
But the TV star isn’t keen to do it alone – and wants to team up with rival songstress Katy Perry.
A source told Showbiz Spy,
"Jessica is busy working on new songs and a new direction and has a number of names she would love to collaborate with and Katy is at the top.
"She's hoping she might be able to work with her in some way and maybe even perform with her."
But there’s one thing that could get in the way of her plans…
According to Ok! The 30 year-old is about to become a mum.
She may have only been dating her new man, NFL star Eric Johnson, for five minutes – but the singer was spied with what looked like a baby bump during her birthday celebration at the Greenbrier Casino Club gala opening in West Virginia.
