Rockers Temper Trap were the big winners at the ‘2010 APRA Awards!’

The fab foursome bagged the prestigious gong for ‘Song Of The Year’ for their hit ‘Sweet Disposition’ at the annual Aussie music bash, held in Sydney.

They beat off stiff competition from Empire Of The Sun – who were later cheered up when their smash single ‘Walking On A Dream’ won ‘Dance Work Of The Year.’

And that wasn’t all. Band members Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore , and collaborator Jonathan Sloan , were awarded the prize for ‘Songwriter Of The Year.’

Legendary rockband AC/DC also had plenty to celebrate after wining the ‘Songwriter Of The Year’ and ‘Most Played Australian Work Overseas’ gongs for their hit track ‘Rock N Roll Train.’

And last but not least, it was a big night for Eskimo Joe , who’s song ‘Foreign Land’ scooped them awards for ‘Rock Work Of The Year’ and ‘Most Played Australian Work.’
