For the fourth year running, MTV has partnered with prominent musicians to produce a moving and deeply affecting music video for the MTV EXIT campaign.
In an exclusive collaboration, MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking) and music collective Black Iris, featuring Best Coast’s lead vocalist Bethany Cosentino, have worked with leading global advertising agency Y&R to produce a music video which raises awareness of human trafficking.
‘When Will I Feel Love’ highlights the dangers of trafficking for sexual exploitation, and in particular demonstrates the devastating impact trafficking has on the lives of young women. It’s the latest video in MTV EXIT’s series of collaborations, with previous contributors including Radiohead, Muse and The Killers.
The video will premiere across MTV on-air and online around the world on February 14th 2011, and will be available to download on iTunes from February 15th. Proceeds from iTunes sales will be directed to anti-trafficking organisations working to rescue and rehabilitate victims of human trafficking.
