Aussie Idol winner Guy Sebastian has teamed up with Lionel Richie to help raise money for flood and earthquake relief.

Following the heavy floods in Queensland in January and the devastating earthquake in Christchurch last week, the superstar pair have recorded a remake of the 80s soul legend’s hit ‘All Night Long.’

The charity single, which the pair recorded in LA alongside uber producer Red One, will be released in Australia and New Zealand soon.

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, the ‘Dancing On The Ceiling’ star, who’s due to tour Down Under next month, said of the new release,

"As an artist with 40 something years in the business how do you do something meaningful for a country like Australia?

"What's happened this year with the floods and now with the earthquakes, it's horrific. The only time you can show you are appreciative to Australians is that when they get in trouble I get a chance to do something. Instead of just coming to tour again this time I want to help you for a minute, I'll take one of my biggest songs and give it to you."
