Paris Hilton has taken to Twitter to refute reports that she’s set her sights on becoming a DJ!
Despite rumours that the blonde bombshell was planning a new career behind the decks, Hilton wrote on the social networking site:
“Not training to be a DJ, just making music with my boy @DJAfrojack. Loves it!”
The Dutch DJ is working with the socialite on her new album. According to popinstereo.com, she told reporters back in May that she’s taking her sound in a new direction.
“I have a recording studio in my house so any time I have free time I’m writing and working [on new music]
“I’ve been working on this album for a really long time because I want it to be perfect. I recently changed the direction of the album. It was more pop before but now I’m getting rid of a lot of songs and going into a different direction with house music, so it will be a lot more dance and club.”
Paris has been spending plenty of time in the club sphere lately, partying in Ibitha and recently appearing on stage with Deadmau5.
“Was so much fun and such an honor to be asked to go on stage and be his Ghost in the show tonight. Love DeadMau5!! So epic! Amazing night!” she wrote on Twitter after the appearance.
Hilton’s last album, 'Paris', was released in 2006 and peaked at #6 on the U.S. Billboard chart.
