It’s the news that all the tweens out there have been waiting for. Justin Bieber has announced his very first headline tour!

The singer has revealed he’ll perform in 40 North American cities, kicking off on June 23.

But it's us Aussies who are getting him first! Ahead of his "My World" shows in the US, the 16 -year-old will be in Oz for a promotional visit on April 25.

This week the Canadian pop star released his new Motown inspired ballad ‘U Smile’

And he's hopeful the song will follow the huge success of his previous two singles ‘One Time’ and ‘Baby.’

Raving about it on Twitter he said, “U Smile is one of the best songs I have ever recorded, it really is a throwback to the great records I listened to growing up. ... I wrote it for all my fans who got me here.”

He added, "U took me from a small town in Canada to this amazing opportunity I am living now.

"I am so grateful for everything and so blessed for all of your support. I wrote 'U Smile' with my friend August with that in mind. ... So this one is for U. Enjoy it and know that u the fans give me my strength in a lot of this."
