What better way for Adele to prove she’s back to best than by taking centre stage at this month’s ‘Grammy Awards?’
After undergoing vocal chord surgery in November, the Brit hitmaker is set for a mighty return to the music scene at the 54th Annual bash in LA, alongside the likes of Rihanna, Coldplay, Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj.
Breaking the news to fans on Twitter, the ‘Someone Like You’ star, who’s nominated for six gongs including ‘Album of the Year,’ gushed,
“Ima be, Ima be singing at the Grammys. It's been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can't wait, speak soon xx”
But while the songbird, who last performed at the star-studded event back in 2009, is clearly stoked to get back to the day job, she admits she’s definitely feeling the pressure!
"It's an absolute honor to be included in such a night and for it to be my first performance in months is very exciting and of course nerve-racking, but what a way to get back into it all,” she told MTV News in a statement.
The ‘2012 Grammy Awards’ will kick off Sunday February 12 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles!
