Star Working Akon And Snoop On Solo Debut Everyone's favourite bad girl, Aubrey O'Day is once again in the media-spangled spotlight and this time, it's not for watching porn with her parents or a raunchy Playboy cover shoot - the curvaceous diva is attempting a solo career.

For the unacquainted, Aubrey was unceremoniously dumped from Danity Kane by P Diddy earlier last year, for bringing a little more diva to the group than was necessary.

But it seems she has found plenty of opportunity to supplement her income since being booted.

PerezHilton.com reported O'Day is about to give the music industry another crack and sign a solo deal with SRC/Universal boss Steve Rifkind, weeks after attempting a failed Danity Kane reunion. Perhaps someone should remind Aubs for a band reunion to take place the band members and manager actually need to like you!!!

According to KBSRadio.ca, when the solo deal is signed, Aub's might be working with the hit-maker Akon on her up and coming debut album. However, O'Day's mouthpiece isn't releasing any juicy details, only telling MTV News.com, "We have no comments as of now."

MTV News caught up with O'Day only weeks before the alleged solo rumours hit the web during New York Fashion Week, where she said she had no prior music plans post Danity Kane.

But she did say once she, "finished off all my obligations with Danity Kane and Puff and 'Making the Band' and once that is taken care of, I will be moving forward with a new label and releasing music."

Despite her strained relations with Diddy, Aubs has been in the studio and cranking out new beats, hoping a rock career will treat her better than the bopping pop of Danity Kane. "I'm in the studio being creative. It's been a long time since I've been able to express myself in writing and trying different styles of music," she said.

"And a lot of the music I've been recording has a rock edge to it, and I love it," While reports abound of her possible collabs with chart topper Akon, the Playboy model is also hoping Snoop Dogg will also get on board Team O'Day.

'I've always said this, even when I was with Danity Kane: I would love to get Snoop on a track,' she said. 'I'm so in love with Snoop, and we are both West Coast people.' While new music from O'Day hasn't escaped the studios (i.e leaked), fellow ostracised Danity Kane member D. Woods (Aub's Danity rival), has also some of her own solo offerings hit the Web.

"I don't need to leak music. When it's ready to be out there and be heard, [it will be]," said Aubrey.

"I'm not putting pressure on myself. There was a lot of pressure to release music in the last situation, and I don't want to [release music] because there is pressure [or] because I need to make a move right now. I want to do it when I feel like it's at its best."

Yep, Aubrey O'Day will do anything to be famous, and don't we love her for it!
