'The Hills' Are Alive With The Sound Of... Security Alarms?

'The Hills' stars are now firmly cemented in the Hollywood A list.

Want proof? Instead of the likes of Jennifer Anniston and Julia Roberts gracing the cover of the oh-so-coveted tabloids, we have young Hollywood 'it' girls showing the world you can have everything if you're rich, gorgeous and have a MTV camera crew following your every move!

Hills star and Vodafone MTV Australia Awards 2009 Red Carpet Show host Audrina Partridge has always been the good girl, the loyal shoulder to cry on and perhaps the most esteemed of the "it" crew. She was introduced to the show as the nice girl hanging by the pool in the OC Hills apartment complex. Heidi Montag, Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge soon became fast friends, but when Heidi was decided to go Frienemy on LC, Audrina was there to pick up the pieces, be her roommate and solid BFF.

Well that was then, but it didn't take long for LA LA land drama to catch up with her, which thankfully led to more screen time and more fans joining 'Team Audrina'. In the past year the gorgeous brunette has had enough juicy plotlines to make the writers of 'Gossip Girl' froth with envy.

We're talking friendship rifs, obligatory boy dramas and everything and anything else that comes with being part of the coolest crew on telly. But perhaps the most dramatic development on the bill is the news that our favorite Hills girl has just been robbed!

Audrina took to her blog to vent her understandable frustrations. "I had a really rough day today," she wrote in the post. "I got home late last night and realized that my house had been robbed. It was pretty devastating!"

Proving thinking outside the box is still chic, Audrina also used her blog to post some surveillance videos in the hopes that one of her fans will report the culprits to the police.

While she claims that most of the stuff they took were replaceable, she added "They took off with a few very sentimental things too." The video shows two men in baseball caps running off with bags of Audrina owned goodies.

"I spent most of the morning filling out police reports and going through the house room by room, making lists of everything that had been taken," she wrote. "Definitely not a good way to start the week."

Lucky for MTV fans here in OZ the crims didn't get a chance to swipe her tickets to Sydney for the Vodafone MTV Australia Awards! Check out Audrina tearing up the red carpet with our very own MTV VJ Darren McMullen below.
