Selena Gomez, who was romantically linked to both the A-list hotties before meeting Justin Bieber, has spoken out about her “wasted” year with an ex flame.
And while the ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ star refused to name names, rumours are running rife that one of the famous young heartthrobs is the likely culprit!
"I was in a relationship previously where I had to hide everything and it wasn’t my choice," she told Cosmopolitan Magazine.
"I had to go through different exits and take separate cars and do the craziest things, and it just really wasn’t worth it. It was like a year of my life completely wasted."
But luckily for Selena, Prince Charming, aka Biebs, came along and swept her off her feet!
Revealing what it’s like to be one half of Jelena - the world’s most famous tween couple - she added,
"If you're in love, you're in love to the fullest, and you just want to go to the movies, hang out, and be as normal as possible. I'm fortunate that I've found someone who has that philosophy."
And while she may snub any desire to be a “sex symbol,” the 19-year-old, who recently ditched her clean-cut ‘Disney’ image for more risqué stage costumes and flesh flashing gowns on the red carpet, admitted she’s "gradually working toward becoming more confident in being a woman."
