Celebs work hard to be fabulous, and the stars that graced MTV Snow Jam 2009 were no different! In between a hectic schedule of photo ops, interviews for radio, TV and magazine, snowboard lessons and meet-and-greet's, MTV managed to scab a few minutes with the celebs to get the low-down on their favourite things about Snow Jam and their top tips for next year, because you can never start planning too early…

Jay Reeves - MTV NZ VJ
What are you most excited about Jay?
I’m really really pumped about the whole thing, the set up looks awesome, everyone’s put in a massive effort it’s so good to get over it from New Zealand and smash it with the Australian guys!
Top Tips?
Get a bunch of you together get some layers and don’t miss it! That’s all you need to know 'cause this year has been amazing!
Ruby Rose - MTV VJ
What’s the highlight so far Ruby?
My favourite thing about Snow Jam? The snow! (laughs) I’m loving the fact it’s in my home state of Victoria, and it's great to be here!
Top Tips?
Get warm, if you get cold you get grumpy, but if you stay warm you’re going to have a blast.
Darren McMullen - MTV VJ
Daz, can you tell us about the best moment so far?
My favourite thing about Snow Jam this year is Erin McNaught-y. Having a spa with her last night… Just me and her up there in my room that’s been the highlight so far. Actually I can’t remember whether that was a dream or it actually happened, but it was very vivid.
Top Tips?
Make sure you book your accommodation well in advance because anyone who’s anyone is here, you wanna hang around for the aftermath and the after party, bring condoms, a lot of lube and Jagermeister, oh and you’ve got to have a hip flask probably bring a couple and fill them with Scottish water aka Glenlivet Scotch 15 year.
Just book out a good weekend of your life cos when you get home you’re going to be really hungover!
Erin McNaught - Model/Actress
Having a good time Erin?
I’m having the best time ever at Snow Jam! It’s surpassed my expectations. We had an awesome snowboard session yesterday and now everyone’s in party mode.
So any truth to those rumours about hanging with Daz in the spa?
I haven’t yet ventured into the spa, so yeah he’s lying! [laughs]
Garret Parks - Professional Surfboarder
What are you looking forward to Garret?
My favourite part of Snow Jam so far is hanging out with Rubs and Darren. Good times; who knows what they’re going to have in store for me!
Nacho Pop - Choreographer
Anything planned for the dance floor Nacho?
I’m here with some cool people like Tahnee and Erin; gorgeous girls! So I’ll probably show off in front of them tonight and bust out a few moves!
The best part of Snow Jam?
I was just in the spa and it was snowing but I was warm, and that is the definition of Gangsta! I’m stoked MTV has brought me down so I get to hang out and kick it. And as of today I’m a snowboarder, Yeow!
Tahnee Atkinson - Winner of Australia’s Next Top Model
How have you been handling the cold Tahnee? Well, I’ve never been a snow girl, I’m a beach girl from Perth so I thought I’d hate the cold weather. But I got up early this morning and got into the snow and I love it! So that’s been my favourite part so far!
You’ve just been thrust into the spotlight. Is it strange all the sudden being a celeb? It’s weird; I don’t see myself as a celebrity at all, but suddenly Ruby Rose knows my name and it spins me out ‘cause not that long ago I was just an ordinary girl and now I’m hanging out at MTV Snow Jam!
