It’s been a few years since ex label-mates The Game and 50 Cent could call themselves friends – but now The Game has just resurfaced the beef by apparently 'outing' 50 Cent as gay on Twitter!

According to MTV.co.uk, The Game, who recently came under scrutiny for unsavory comments he made about gay men and HIV to VLAD TV, justified his stance and in the process 'outed' Fiddy.

Responding to a tweet sent by TMZ, The Game wrote; "Look @TMZ its simple: if your GAY be GAY!!! I don't have a problem with GAY people… I like Elton John's music a lot #StraightTweet"

Game, who has just dropped ‘The R.E.D Album’ continued: "Why does the word "GAY" always stir up so much MADNESS? If ur GAY, kool. If you're NOT GAY, that's kool 2. Be WHATEVER u wanna be - the game."

"@TMZ but look around, s*** I be surprised when I see someone who's not GAY. My girl hair stylist is GAY & he cool. @50cent GAY n we was cool."

The Game had previously told VLAD TV that closeted gay people "are the only type of gay people that I have a problem with".

It’s not the first time the ultra masculine Fiddy has been 'outed' as gay – in 2010, openly gay singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright professed his love for the rapper, and said he “knows” the In Da Club rapper bats for the other team!

In an interview with Details magazine, Rufus revealed: "Its okay, 50 Cent. Feel free to call me anytime. My boyfriend and I are experts. You can come over for dinner. And maybe dessert."

Meanwhile, industry insiders are calling BS on The Game’s comments, saying it’s just a ploy to increase album sales.

“Anytime there is any publicity around a feud there is a boost in sales,” Dave Bakula from Nielsen Entertainment told The Huffington Post. “It really comes down to the marketing machine. The more you get the word out there, the more you rally the fans to say I am a fan of this side or that side. Fans want to choose sides.”
