It’s only been a little over a year since Nicki Minaj signed with Diddy and James Cruz’s management company, but the femcee has already jumped ship, with sources saying the hip hop mogul wasn’t “hands on” enough.
According to XXLMag.com, Nicki, who's proving to be one of the hottest forces in hip hop right now with a chart-topping album, massive singles and high-profile performances, has instead signed with Gee Roberson and Kyambo ‘Hip Hop’ Joshua over at Hip Hop Since 1978. The management team also represents Lil Wayne, Drake, Young Jeezy and Just Blaze.
While the specifics are still unknown, a source tells that the rapstress thought Diddy would be more “hands on” with her career, and was disappointed when that wasn’t the case. The source continues by saying there are no hard feelings between Nicki and Dids.
In other Nicki news, the outrageous hit maker has said she can’t wait to jump on tour with Britney Spears later this year – so she can find out the secret to her success!
She told Entertainment Tonight, “I really want to see [Britney] in action. She's definitely an icon and I want to see what she does and how she moves the crowd and how she has managed to stay in the game this long and be relevant.”
