Lady Gaga has revealed she told Beyonce “I want to do you,” during a phone call about their musical hook-up.

Because when Queen B asked L-Ga to sing a verse on her song, ’Speakerphone’, Gaga was beyond excited.

The ’Poker Face’ singer said: "When I was doing her video with Beyonce, she called me and she said: 'What do you want to do?' And I'm like: 'I don't want to show up in some frickin' hair bow and be fashion Gaga in your video.' I said: 'I want to do you.' "

In a photo that’s leaked from the vid shoot, Gaga is said to be wearing a white strapless leotard with matching gloves while her hair is long, thick and flowing, Beyonce-stylee.

Gaga said of the video shoot: "I wanted to do my version of Beyoncé. So the whole time I was learning the choreography they were calling me Gee-yoncé."

And in more exciting news: Beyonce has returned the favour.

Everyone’s favourite ‘Single Lady’ has collaborated on a song called ‘Telephone’ (we’re noticing a theme here) on Gaga’s forthcoming reversioned album, ’The Fame: Monster’.

And in more just-announced news, Gaga has revealed the collectors’ edition of the disc will include a lock of her own hair – yes, you read that correctly – along with puzzles, posters, a paper doll collection and 3-D glasses.
