“It’s the album we’ve been wanting to make since we started the band,” says singer and guitarist Jon Hume, of the new album Truth Of The World: Welcome To The Show. “It's a concept album that takes inspiration from trashy media and political propaganda, and turns it into a fun, over the top rock'n'roll show.”

So, think you know Evermore eh?

Then prepare to be blown sideways, because everything you thought you knew has evolved into the unexpected, spacious and grandiose. Originally from New Zealand, and legends in their home town of Fielding, the adopted Aussies have achieved chart success both here and in the UK, been nominated for six ARIA Awards, two NZ Music Awards, and MTV gongs, rightfully claiming their spot as the countries leading dream rockers.

Some call Evermore the Antipodes answer to the Jonas Brothers, but we think that’s selling the trio far too short. In the years that they’ve been frequenting the airwaves here and in New Zealand, Evermore have acquired a following of dedicated followers, hanging on to every sound and sight the band have to offer.

So enthusiastic are Evermore fans about making sure everyone with two ears and a heartbeat hears what they have to offer, the bands management set up a concept to involve fans in the promotion of Evermore’s exploits.

The results from the first foray were overwhelming. Tickets and posters were sent out to fans who promoted the shows, who in turn sold their tickets and promoted the shows. The result? A sold out show for Evermore, and an empowered group of fans.

On the strength of this project, Evermore are launching the first web platform Posse.com on April 27, that will enable their fans to become official promoter of their shows, and make some moolah while they’re at it!

Posse.com was created as a web platform to securely make this concept available to all artists and fans. The site is partnered with Ticketmaster and Myspace and works on all social networking sites, email, MSN and Twitter. Fans can download advertising for a show they'd like to promote to their Myspace page and when their friend clicks through the ad to purchase a ticket they made a commission.

Become part of the new generation of young music industry entrepreneurs to become involved in the business of the artists they are passionate about!

Get to Posse.com right now and sign up, and while your at it, check out some of the Myspace successfuls profiles below!

Hey I’m Dani, and I’m really passionate about music, mostly Evermore. I do a lot of adventurous things, and I love to help out as much as I can. Evermore are a great band, and they have changed my life forever. They are the one band that I can listen to 24/7 without getting sick of, and still love their sound. You can pick up on so many different surprises in their music, almost every time you hear it. They are constantly involved with charity events, such as Make Poverty History, Schools4Schools and the Gippsland Bushfire Relief Concert, it’s hard to think that they have time to tour! They are great guys and they do all the right things, so come on, buy and ticket and support them!

I'm Kelly Tsalamandris, 17 yrs old ..turning 18 soon (woo!). I live in Melbourne, Victoria and I go to Mount Waverley secondary college (where I'm completing yr 12). I absolutely love Evermore, which is why i want to take on the job of selling some tickets. I want to spread the ~evermore/ Hume brother~ love around to everyone! My goal is to try and sell as many tickets as i possibly can..and i will be bugging everyone at my school to purchase tickets (including teachers and principle), as well as friends and relatives and even people i don't know :p I was fortunate enough to see Evermore live at Rove, and they were absolutely incredible live!!

My name is Ashleigh, I live in Melbourne and LOVE music! My all time favourite band is Evermore, who I have been supporting/following since 2004. My favourite thing to do is watch the boys play live. The reason I enjoy listening to Evermore so much is that you can relate to the lyrics and they never sound the same. I love the fact that they have never made a song I didn’t like. I was a bit nervous about the new album because although I loved it, it was a completely different sound to what the public was used to hearing from Evermore. Though I believe it has/will continue to be a success and I can’t wait to see the new album played live!
