Aussie A-listers, international stars and VIP guests sizzled in the sunshine at the '2011 ARIA Awards!'

Donning their finest frocks for the most glamorous local event of the year, celebs were out in force at Sydney’s Olympic Park.

And of course MTV was there on the red carpet to schmooze with all the famous arrivals as they strutted their stuff ahead of the 25th anniversary awards bash.

All eyes were on Aussie pop Queen and ARIA Hall of Fame inductee Kylie Minogue, who showed off her famous pins in a sexy black frilled gown, matched with the perfect accessory – her tall, dark and handsome fella Andres Velencoso.



Meanwhile, rocking it all the way from the States were our favourite punk brothers Joel and Benji Madden.

Decked out in matching shades and their standard black studded leathers despite the sweltering heat, the Good Charlotte duo said they were stoked to be back on our shores.



“I love the culture here and I love the people here,” said Joel, who’s moving Down Under, along with his family, to judge ‘The Voice Australia’ next year.

“I’m excited for my family to be here and soak it up!”

Meanwhile, man of the moment Reece Mastin enjoyed his first proper taste of red carpet madness when faced with hundreds of screaming admirers as he hopped out of his limo.

Telling MTV how he’s taking all the non-stop attention since winning the ‘X-Factor’ in his stride, the teen cutie, joked,

“I don’t mind it…it’s not too bad, yeah!”



Also giving us a sneaky peek at what fans can expect from his upcoming Aussie tour, the young heartthrob, who opted for a white Elvis-style suit and hugely quiffed hair, revealed,

“It’s going to be huge.

“We’re doing a lot of the old stuff from the show, but we’ll bring some originals back too as at the end of the day that’s what I’m going for being an original artist, its going to be a huge rock show.”

Also getting a mega cheer from the packed out crowd was stunning songbird and ARIA performer Delta Goodrem.



Showing off her California tan in a long lacey black and nude Lisa Ho gown, she said of returning back home,

“It’s so nice to be here.

“I love all my Aussie acts…I’m just so honoured I can be a part of it.”

And when quizzed about whether she’d be bringing her toyboy beau Nick Jonas back to Oz with her next time, she teased,

“Who knows…?”

Also opting for a full length lacey number was sexy RnB star Jessica Mauboy, who dazzled in a black dress by local designer Daniela-Stephanie.

The ARIA-nominated starlet gushed, “The ARIAs is a beautiful celebration and a lovely event to be a part of.”
