50 Cent has never been one to shy away from a challenge – so we can’t wait to see how the rapstar-turned-actor handles his hot new role on the big screen!
According to Variety, the hitmaker, who’s already starred in flicks including ‘13,’ ‘Dead Man Running’ and ‘Righteous Kill,’ has bagged himself a part in the upcoming new crime drama ‘Freelancers.’
Fiddy will reportedly play the son of a murdered New York Police officer who joins the force himself, and ends up on “a team of rogue Gotham cops.”
And there’s no denying the hip-hop star is taking his new movie career VERY seriously…
Just last year the 35-year-old shocked fans when he tweeted a pic of himself looking frightfully thin for his role as a football player with cancer in the movie ‘Things Fall Apart.’
And talking to MTV News about his passion for acting, the singer, who’s also created his own production company ‘Cheetah Vision’ said,
“With each individual project, I work with someone that makes sure I'm completely prepared for it.
"I feel like I'm growing. When the projects get bigger and better the public will start to shift and treat me like anyone else's progress."
