The ‘Countdown’ singer has had a partnership with Pepsi since 2001, but this latest deal will see the company putting money towards Queen Bey’s creative projects as well as traditional advertising, the New York Times reports.
And in a first for Pepsi, the singer’s face will also be featured on cans and bottles of the drink, reports the Daily Mail.
The hybrid project is already being pushed via Pepsi’s Twitter account, with the company releasing images of the star pushing a trolley full of Pepsi and images of her face printed on the famous can.
“Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve,” the 31-year-old singer said in a statement.
“As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”
According to the Daily Mail, the promotion will be officially kicked off during Beyonce’s appearance at the Super Bowl’s half time show in February, with the limited edition cans being released in March and sold worldwide.
