Nothing like a boy-band beef to warm up your Wednesday! Bands from the 80's and 90's have been reforming with a-gusto of late, so it was only a matter of time before old beef surfaced!

New Kids On The Block have recently slagged off fellow reformed boy-band and nineties rival Backstreet Boys insisting their comeback will be more successful and eclipse the Backstreet Boys recent efforts.

Unlike NKOTB, Backstreet has come back several times since their beginning, but have failed to emulate the success of their first album. NKOTB meanwhile, have recently united after a 15 year absence on the pop market to much hype and acclaim.

Singer Danny Wood says, "Backstreet's records sound the same as before - their music didn't evolve like ours has. They never spoke too highly of us and said if we had talent we'd still be around. They should've probably kept their mouths shut!"

Oh them be fightin' words Danny! You'd think these guys would have grown out of school yard-eske squabbles, but now the ball is in Backstreet Boys court. Whatchha got boys? Let's hope it's a number one single!
