Even though she wasn't there to collect her weighty trophies at this years 15th Annual MTV European Music Awards, Britney Spears was sure there in spirit.

The recharged chart sensation picked up two gongs for Act of 2008 and Album Of The Year for her last album 'Blackout'. Collecting the award via video, she thanked fans, and urged them to party the night away.

In other Britney news, it seems the 'Womanizer' singer has found a rather ingenious way to retaliate against those pesky paps that follow her every move. According to starpulse.com, she started a section of the official website which shows the weekly 'Paparazzie Award.'

When is someone tripping over their own feet NOT funny? Never! And that rule, according to Brits, extends to the paps. The first video she has uploaded shows a photographer faller over as he tries to snap the star. Brit says the prize is for 'special achievements in walking backwards.' Haw Haw.

She has also been pointing out mistakes in reports about her by photo agencies and gossip websites.

Brit has an intriguing relationship with the paps, not unlike parasite mutualism in the animal kingdom. Sure, the bottom feeder might annoy the hell out of the shark when it hitches a ride, but the bottom feeder also conveniently feasts on the maddeningly itchy build up of dead skin cells from the shark's underbelly. In comparison, while the paps might seem to relentlessly stalk Brits every move, it's been reported that the star in turn benefits by getting paid for tipping off paps (who are oft referred to the parasites of the photography profession) on her own movements, in turn scoring millions for magazine deals. And of course there that old adage 'all publicity is good publicity.' She also had a much-publicized relationship with British pap' Adnan Ghalib.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer eh Brit!

It has also been reported recently that the star is planning to tour shortly in support of her new album 'Circus' which comes out on December 2 - her 27th birthday -. and that tour is set to include Australia! As reported on smh.com.au, Wade Robson, the Australian choreographer who is directing the singer's comeback, has revealed Brit is hoping to bring the show to Australia most likey towards the end of 2009.

Right now it's just a US tour and one or two dates in the UK but we're pretty sure that it's going to turn into a full world tour," he said. Yippy yi yi yay!
