And while Will’s manager Polo Molina has been charged with assaulting Perez after he handed himself into police, it seems the matter is not going to disappear anytime soon, particularly as Perez has offended huge sections of the gay community after it emerged he called Will.I.Am a “f*ggot” at the time of the incident.
Gays rights groups have called on the self-titled “Queen of all media” to publicly apologise for using the offensive term while some members of the public and the media are claiming the pink-haired wind-up merchant had it coming.
One man lovin’ it more than all the world’s biggest MacDonalds put together, is musician and Jennifer Aniston’s ex, John Mayer. Why? Because John’s been a target of Hilton’s oft viper tongue for aaaaages.
Putting his beloved instrument aside for a while (yes, we mean the guitar), John has been Tweeting Perez and offering his commentary on, let’s call it ‘Willton’-gate.
First up: “I want to train you in an old martial art called ‘Never Call A Black Dude a F*ggot Jitsu’.” Then: “From the heart, what you experienced these last 24 hrs is a profound lack of control.” And next: “(People) don't want to see you hurt, they want to see you experience something equalizing.” Followed by: “You might have a gash on your face for a few more days, but the real healing? It's happening right now.” And he wrapped it all with: “Good night Perez, you dumb shit.”
Feel good, Johnny boy?
Perez meanwhile, posted a statement on his website which addressed his use of the negative word and the people saying he got what he deserved.
He wrote: “I wanted to hurt (Will.I.Am) with the word I chose, not anyone else. Unfortunately, the one who got hurt was me and, subsequently, a lot of other people. I wish none of it had happened… No one ‘deserves’ to be the victim of violence. No one ‘has it coming.’ NO ONE.”
To quote Perez: “The dramz!”
