Now it’s time for all the red carpet glitz and glamour, A-list performances and award-winning fun to begin again with the ‘2011 MTV Video Music Awards!’
And what better way to kick off all the VMA action, than by teaming up with pop superstar Katy Perry to reveal this year’s lucky nominees!
Unveiling the top secret list of noms especially for MTV today – the ‘California Gurl’ herself is for nine gongs herself, including ‘Best Pop Video,’ ‘Best Collaboration’ and ‘Best Direction’ for her smash hit single ‘Firework.’
And she’ll also be battling it out with Brit songstress Adele and hip hop genius Kanye West, who’ve both scooped up seven.
Also in the running is ‘Grenade’ hottie Bruno Mars, who’s down for four, including ‘Video Of The Year’ - and pop diva Beyoncé, wacky hitmaker Lady Gaga, rap princess Nicki Minaj and lyrical King Eminem have all picked up three each!
