If you haven’t got your hands on ‘Parklife’ tickets yet – after this, you might wanna get a move on!
Dance legends Groove Armada have announced their set at the festivals Down Under will be the last EVER chance for Aussie fans to see them perform live.
In an official statement, Tom Findlay and Andy Cato confirmed they're retiring.
“We’ve crossed and re-crossed the world with this band and crew. There’s no other team like it. With their help, GA live became the sound of legendary nights from Mount Fuji to Moscow.
"It's not often in the spotlight maybe; but ask the people who have come and filled the tents and surrounded the stages for the last decade.
“A massive thanks to all of them, for staying with us on a journey from Richie Havens to Saint Saviour.”
The UK music duo, who first got together in the mid 1990’s, have stormed the charts over the years with popular dance hits including ‘I See You Baby,’ ‘Superstylin’ and ‘Easy.’
The DJ’s will headline each of the five Parklife festivals, which kick of on the Gold Coast this Saturday (September 25), before heading back to their home town of London.
Describing Australia as their “second home,” Tom told ninemsn, “We've almost never had a bad time in Australia so that's got to be a good thing."
“Aussie crowds are really up for it and now they're really savvy and knowledgeable and there's not a lot not to like really."
