Lindsay Lohan has been released from jail after serving just 13 of her 90-day sentence.

But any types of celebration with friends or family will have to be put on hold…

The 24-year-old, who was put behind bars for breaking the probation terms of a drink-drive punishment, was whisked straight from Lynwood Correctional Facility in Los Angeles to rehab.

The wildchild, who’s had a long-term battle with booze and drugs, will spend 90-days at the nearby UCLA Medical Centre.

It’s the ‘Mean Girls’ star’s fourth time in a rehab facility, and reports say she will NOT be allowed to leave the facility early.

Speaking about her daughter’s early release, Li-Lo’s mother Dina told Us Magazine,

"Lindsay is doing well, and is appreciative of the hundreds of well-wishers she has received.

"Lindsay is with the utmost professionals and is in very good hands."

Meanwhile the redhead’s estranged father Michael insisted rehab is the only thing that can help her.

He said, “She's 80 per cent of the way to where she has to be.

"She's got to go to rehab, take a step back from everything, and say, 'I've got to find myself again'."
