Qantas have not only disrupted the travel plans of over 70, 000 passengers, they’ve also managed to majorly PO Kings Of Leon!
Drummer Nathan Followill slammed the airline on Twitter last night after it looked like their Australian shows would be postponed thanks to the strikes and the airline's decision to ground its planes on the weekend.
He said: “Dear Qantas, u suck, thanks 4 f**king up my trip 2 Oz. Joberg-Dubai-Sydney. 24 hours in the air. That’s how much I love Oz.”
But it wasn’t all bad for the Nashville rockers. Moments later Nathan added:
"The silver lining is that we are throwing one hell of a halloween party on the plane. I'm going as the drunk guy in seat 5a."
Thankfully, the rockers have managed to reschedule their flights - fingers crossed they make it into town before their Aussie tour kicks off on November 4!
The ‘Use Somebody’ rockers have already had to postpone their Aussie tour this year – their March tour was put off after Nathan tore his bicep.
Kings Of Leon will play Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth this month.
