Last week, R&B singer Cassie joined the ranks of accidentally nude starlets when private photos became public thanks to some suspect leaking on the internet.
Cassie who is featured topless in the R rated pics, has responded to the photos via twitter admitting that the photos are her, and adding people shouldn’t make such a big deal.
"It seems that someone has hacked into my computer," tweeted Cassie. "That's real foul and evil. Now stop acting like you haven't seen a t---y before.”
The real shock isn’t the fact that Cassie is showing off her pink bits; people are more surprised that a celebrity has finally owned up to a nude photo scandal; unlike High School Musical sweet heart Vanessa Hudgens who wouldn’t deny or accept her nuddy scandal, back in 2007.
The early bird diva than took to her blog at 4:57 am in the morning to let the culprit feel the wrath of her fury.
She wrote:
"The recent personal pictures that have been leaked on the internet of me were hacked and stolen out of my computer," she wrote. "These photos were obviously never intended for the world to see and it's sad that people would really take time to steal and post them, it's just evil. At the end of the day breasts are breasts, mine weren't the first you've seen and they won't be the last ... people need to grow up, let's move on. Thank you."
We’re guessing the ‘Me & U’ chart topper is still secretly reeling from the violation, but chances are Disney is relishing the fact that the latest celeb to do the full frontal wasn’t one of their own, and no damage control will be necessary at this stage to the save the reputation of an ‘innocent’ tween.
Cassie joins a long list of teen celebs to have her nude bits flashing across PC monitors. ‘Hannah Montana’ starlet Miley Cyrus got into a bit of strife for showing a bit of back and Cheetah Girl Adrienne Baildon used nude pics to boost her publicity. But unfortunately for her, the plan horribly backfired and she is still stuck in the D list of Hollywood’s forgotten.
But not to worry Cassie! If you were looking for someone to take the heat of your nudie scandal, you only have to look to hotly debated Miss California, aka Carrie Prejean who has also been featured in some interesting and raunchy photographs leaked to the media. And with that notorious celebrity blogger Perez Hilton relentlessly campaigning to strip that little beauty of her crown we think you’ve serendipitously dodged a bullet!
