Battling it out to claim their very own surfboard gong, the A-listers were out in force, decked in their finest frocks for the bash at California’s Gibson Amphitheatre.
Pop princess Katy Perry, who hosted the night decked out as a cheerleader, geek, prom queen and goth, kicked off the event with a rendition of her smash hit single ‘Teenage Dream, on a flashing brightly coloured stage.
R&B singer Jason Derulo and Tarvis Mccoy also belted out hits on stage – but the performance of the night came from Hollywood star Sandra Bullock!
Continuing her efforts back into the spotlight following her split from hubby Jesse James, the actress had the crowd in fits when she accepted the award for ‘Choice Movie Actress’ for ‘The Blind Side.’
Decked in tight leather pants and a grey t-shirt, she yelled out to her pal Betty White to join her on stage and the pair did their best Beyoncé inspired booty-shaking routine to Lil John’s ‘Get Low.’
The next laugh out loud moment of the evening came when comedian George Lopez hit the stage dressed as “Cougar Kardashian” to join Kourtney, Khloe and Kim - who picked up the prize for ‘Choice Reality Show’ for ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians.’
And proving vampires DON’T suck – ‘Twilight’ bagged an impressive 12 wins in total, with Robert Pattinson taking four of them.
His absent co-star Kristen Stewart also won four, and his Team Jacob rival Taylor Lautner beat R-Patz for ‘Choice Male Actor’ and ‘Choice Male Hottie.’
Other winners on the night included Megan Fox, who naturally won ‘Choice Female Hottie,’ the Jonas Brothers, who were collectively named ‘Choice TV Actors in a Comedy’ for ‘JONAS,’ and fellow ‘Disney’ star Selena Gomez scored ‘Choice TV Actress in a Comedy’ for ‘Wizard of Waverly Place,’ ‘Female Red Carpet Icon’ and ‘Choice Female Breakout Artist.’
