Robert Pattinson has already cemented his place in popular culture as brooding vampire Edward Cullen, but he could soon be adding the title of ‘musician’ to his ever-growing resume.
Footage of the actor performing a new original song has just hit the internet – and boy, does he have a set of lungs on him!
According to celebuzz.com, the recording was taken last year in London at ‘Songs For A Room’, a movement which brings music lovers together in a low-key setting to listen to and perform innovative new songs.
In the clip Rob can be heard mumbling that he hopes he won’t “f**k it up,” adding,
“I don’t know what to say, I haven’t played in a long time.”
Pattinson has already showcased his musical prowess for the masses, having co-written ‘Never Think’ and performed ‘Let Me Sign’ for the Twilight franchise.
And with the shooting for the final films wrapping up last month, it appears we could be hearing a lot more of Rob’s vocal stylings in the near future!
When asked by BBC Radio 1 about his post-Twilight plans the 25 year old answered,
"I'd like to start performing again because I haven't done it in so many years now. It makes such a difference in your life. If you've ever done it once it's very addictive."
