Chris Brown’s new tattoo has left people wondering over its meaning, but now his rep has revealed that the new ink is definitely not of his ex Rihanna!

The 23-year-old was spotted with a new tatt on his neck of a woman’s face with strange markings on it over Labor Day weekend.

“His tattoo is a sugar skull [associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead] and a MAC cosmetics design he saw,” his rep told TMZ.

“It’s not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported.”

Meanwhile, RiRi was seen with some new markings of her own this weekend!

The sultry singer was left heartbroken when her ‘GranGran’ Dolly passed away in July this year, and paid tribute to her with a tattoo of the Egyptian goddess Isis on her chest.

“Goddess Isis - Complete Woman – Model for future generations - #GranGranDolly – always in and on my heart #1love,” the 24-year-old tweeted along with the picture of her latest ink.

The 'Russian Roulette' singer's latest design matches another of her recent tatts of an Egyptian falcon on her ankle.

Chris and Rihanna made headlines last week after they were pictured hugging at the ‘2012 MTV Video Music Awards’ when the beauty bagged herself a Moonman for ‘Video of the Year’ for her smash hit 'We Found Love.'
