Coldplay have decided to jump on the free for all bandwagon and give their music away for nadas. Sort of. The band have announced they're giving all concert goers on their remaining Viva La Vida tour dates a free live album.

Titled 'LeftRightLeftRightLeft', the nine-track CD will be a freebie on the remaining dates throughout the US, Canada and Europe. For those who have already seen the band come and go (i.e. Australia), you can download a digital version of the release from 15 May via Coldplay.com The plan for the fee album was first mentioned back in February when Chris Martin stated, "It's a way of saying thank you. It's a tough economy and people are paying a lot of money for tickets."

Given the rubbish economy, we're pretty sure some of those limited-edition CDs will find their way onto eBay with a liberal mark-up. Digital downloads might be fine for the casual fans, but obsessives will want a tangible CD they can display alongside their signed photos of Chris Martin
