The irony of the situation was not lost on the scriptwriter in question, who was none other than Drag Queen, Verushka Darling, dressed as a man.
Here was a man who dresses as a woman, being asked for a piece of men's fashion from a woman he had occasionally dressed as. Was this a case of life imitating art, or art imitating the life of an imitator?
Whichever, it certainly was a fashion tongue twister.
