Move over Katy Perry – news is just in that Hollywood hottie Zac Efron is the latest A-list star headed Down Under!
The hunky actor, who’s come quite a way from his clean-cut ‘High School Musical’ days is hitting Sydney on September 19 for the premiere of his new dramatic flick ‘Charlie St Cloud.’
In his latest role, the 22-year-old attempts to shred his tween image, playing the leadpart of Charlie, who, after surviving a tragic accident, then embraces the deep dark realities of his past, while finding love.
Just six months ago the ‘17 Again’ star raised temperatures in Oz when he hit our world famous Bondi beach to raise awareness for Oakley’s charity OneSight Foundation.
Although last time he touched down with his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens by his side, it’s not known whether the pretty brunette will accompany him on his next trip…

And if he IS travelling solo – Aussie ladies take note – the heartthrob (unfortunately) isn’t interested in playing the field.
Despite admitting the idea has previously crossed his mind, he insists he’s still a one woman man.
In an interview with Details, he said of his relationship with his former co-star,
"Believe me, I rack my brain thinking, 'Why am I not out there playing the field?' But it's not in my heart."
