The big contenders for the event, which honours songwriters and music composers, are rockers The Living End and R & B star Jessica Mauboy , who are both up for three gongs, including the ‘Most Played Australian Work’ award.
Meanwhile Temper Trap and Empire of the Sun will battle it out to win ‘Breakthrough Songwriter Of The Year’ and ‘Song Of The Year.’
The music bash, which will take place at Sydney’s Convention Centre on June 21 , also sees international acts, including Taylor Swift, All American Rejects, Shinedown, Pink and The Fray compete for prizes.
