They’re top of the New Zealand and Australian charts every time they release new material, so it’s no surprise that Foo Fighters are returning the love by playing gigs to help raise money for the victims of the recent spate of natural disasters.

Currently Down Under promoting their new single ‘Rope’ off the forthcoming album ‘Wasting Light’, the legendary rock act will be playing two gigs – one at Auckland Town Hall on March 22 and the other at Brisbane’s River Stage on March 27.

The Brisbane show will see the hit-makers joined by local acts You Am I and Cloud Control, with all proceeds going to the Queensland Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal.

All profits from the Auckland concert will go to the New Zealand Government’s Christchurch Earthquake Appeal.

But you’d better get in quick, because these shows will sell out in a hot minute! Tickets go on sale this coming Monday (March 21) @ 9am with all tickets priced at $99. To stop filthy scalpers, there will be a limit of four tickets per purchaser.

And that’s not all – if you think your band has what it takes to support a live Foo Fighters gig, then listen up! The band are asking for submissions from local Brissy bands for a spot on the bill – email your submission to info@frontiertouring.com.au with a link to your band’s music by Monday March 21, and it could be you playing on stage with the mighty Foo!
