According to musicweek.com, the entertainer is just as popular with fans as ever, with data from Gracenote revealing the superstar is one of the most looked up artists on Google and iTunes searches.
Gracenote’s metadata, which has been owned by Sony since 2009, uses information and data from billions of searches carried out on iTunes, Google lyrics and Sony products, including artist names, album and song titles as well as sleeve artwork.
Other artists in digital demand include Bob Marley and Tupac Shakur.
