10pm: The Show
Me and Maz just about to do the last link of the night... and that makes me a very happy man because then I go straight to the after party and have my first drink. Ahhh who am I kidding I've been drunk all day! The Fray's just doing their thing and the crowd's gone wild, everyone's really excited and especially me because then I get to go and party with all the lovely ladies ooh yeah... that's an exclusive you're getting on the new MTV website by the way. Oh and Maz is pregnant.
9.45: The Show
Ahhhh, finally found a place to relieve my bladder. It was in a fake pot plant if anyone's interested.
9.15: The Show
Me and Mazzy are on the balcony, and now we're smack bang in the middle of the show. Ashlee Simpson just arrived and no one knew that was happening! She just gave hubby Pete a kiss, awwww... Kings of Leon are now playing live from the TSB Stadium in Wellington and their sex is on fire. Stay tuned people!

Just came off the red carpet, now I’m just running off to my next possy, which is the main show; I’m sweating like R Kelly at recess!
7.30: The Red Carpet
Who was the numnut that forgot my bloody earplugs! Audrina is doing a smashing job helping me out hosting on the Red Carpet and The Killers are about to do their thing with their lovely feathery jackets. Hope Brandon Flowers has spares, it would get a bit stinky after a few wears wouldn't it?
7pm: The Red Carpet
The Red Carpet is well and truly in full swing, with all the celebs strutting down the rug in their glamorous frocks and I'm very happy all the lovely ladies have gone to so much trouble to look good for me tonight...
6.30: The Red Carpet
Only 5 minutes to go till the Red Carpet show starts and I really need to take a piss! Hope I can go and make it back in time. Aaargh!
6pm: The Red Carpet
On the Red Carpet, about to do my thing, but first I think I'll treat these lovely fans who've been waiting so long to a bit of dancing on the podium.
5.45pm: Dressing room
I’m going to have a bit of a rant now because everyone’s panicking except me. I’m cool calm and collected, I’m great. I don’t know what the big fuss is about. It’s meant to be fun isn’t it? Isn’t this the reason why we do this thing in the first place? I think everyone should just calm down and realise its JUST BLOODY TELEVISION. I shall be the voice of reason and an image of calm in amongst this madness. I could be in for a bumpy ride so fasten your seatbelts.
5.30pm: MORE Main Show Rehearsal
Main show rehearsal is over, now back to Red carpet for even MORE rehearsing. Yes I’m thinking it too. All this rehearsing can we just get on with the bloody show! Although I can assure you there is method in this madness - all the preparation is worth it. OOOOhhhh you should see who will be our last performer of the night! But I’m not going to tell you because I’ll get in trouble.
4.30pm: Main Show Rehearsal
Darren here again. Half way through the red carpet now things are really starting to pick up. Maz is getting touched up with makeup, she needs it, I don’t. Because I’m pretty enough without make up. A man by the name of Rhys Darby from Flight of the Concords is rehearsing his bit to camera now, and I can tell you it is very very funny. I’m in stiches. One word. Feathers. That’s all from me for now. Hooroo and say posted.
3.30pm: Main Show Rehearsal
I haven’t had a drink yet which is quite unusual, especially seeing it’s past noon. Lots of people starting to gather now, just about finished our Main Show rehersal. And now I feel, its time to get this show on the road!
3.15pm: Main Show Rehearsal
Off to do Main Show dress rehearsal. So by now you probably know that Jessica Mauboy is performing... well I just saw her dress rehearsal and can guarantee is going to be something else. All these smokin' hot chicks everywhere. I don't know what to do with myself! I'm all in a dither.
3pm: Red Carpet Rehearsal
Dress rehearsal coming up! Ooh I’d love to let the cat out of the bag and tell you all about the very wonderful set up they’ve got inside the Sydney Convention Centre, but that would just ruin the surprise. Don’t forget to tune in to MTV 7.30 tonight!
I think make up gave me too much eyeliner…
But I do like this very dapper suit….
2.30: Exhibition Centre
Standing on a balcony right now looking down on Darling Harbour, my it looks busy! We're just about to get into our Main Show rehersal, and Mazzy here is very worried that the glue from her hairpiece is burning a hole in her head. You ok Mazzy? She's ok. Did I mention that Audrina Patridge is even better looking in real life? I thought it not possible....
2pm: Red Carpet
Doing our Red Carpet rehearsal right now. At this stage, I really don't know what i'm going to say but I like to do things on the fly anyway... Audrina Patridge is looking just sensational, and theres a crowd starting to build... there's going to be some big surprises so stay tuned people...
