You may have seen her asking the tough questions to the likes of Luke Steele, 3OH3! and Sia or getting the fashion lowdown on the 2009 ARIA Red Carpet, but now it’s official, MTV is proud to introduce Daisy McKenzie-McHarg as our exclusive digital reporter.
Born in Melbourne and now based in Sydney, Daisy first came to our attention as the glittering trophy girl on MTV’s Fan Vs Band, where her comic timing was the perfect accompaniment to Cheesy-Mac’s (aka Darren McMullen) OTT game show.
MTV wasted no time putting the beautiful blonde’s charisma and quick-wit to good use with a host of presenting duties including artist interviews, red carpet coverage and News Extras for MTV.com.au and MTV Mobile.
Daisy also was MTV.com.au’s official eyes and ears at the 2009 ARIA Awards. The vivacious 23-year-old was front and centre on the red carpet, asking all the sexiest celebs about their pap-worthy outfits. She then reigned supreme backstage with her very own prom-style set, where the night’s winners sat down for an intimate chat about their victories.
Digi Dais – as we’d like to call her - also hosted the first ever live ‘Twitterview’ with music legend MC Hammer, proving she has what it takes to go toe-to-toe with the big stars.
When she’s not dominating the digital super-highway, Daisy’s tearing it up at festivals, soaking up the rays at the beach and pretty much making everyone who meets her laugh their arses off.
Welcome Daisy, we can’t wait to see more of you all over our screens.
