In an explosive new chat, the RnB superstar has credited his supergroup the Black Eyed Peas for not only helping him achieve phenomenal success in the music biz, but for saving him from a life full of crime too!
When asked what path he’d have followed if he hadn’t formed the poptastic band, he told Look Magazine,
"I would have been a notorious gang member. First I'd have to rebel against my mum and then rebel against the law.”
And revealing how his close bond with his bandmate Apl.de.ap changed his life, the uber producer added,
"It was the friendship that saved me and then the fact that we both enjoyed music that kept the friendship alive."
And after six chart-topping albums with the Peas – the singer is now gearing up for his new solo release!
Earlier this month, his bandmate Fergie told Bang Showbiz of his new record, “I've heard it, it's called Black Einstein, and it's amazing."
