The ‘Teen Choice Awards 2011’
may still be over a week away – but lucky Taylor Swift can start the celebrations early!
Fox has just announced that country pop sensation will be honoured with the ‘Ultimate Choice Award’ at this years bash!
Receiving the prestigious gong for her “extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry,” the songbird follows in the footsteps of previous superstar recipients, including Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Reese Witherspoon.
The 21-year-old is also up for a whole host of nominations at the LA event, hosted by ‘The Big Bang Theory’ actress Kaley Cuoco, including ‘Choice Music: Female Artist' and 'Choice Music: Female Country Artist'.
Joining T-Swizzle on the red carpet will be her bestie Selena Gomez, who’s set to perform alongside Jason Derulo, OneRepublic and Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am.
And that’s not all! Set to raise the temps and welcome a flurry of female squeals on the night will be tween heartthrobs Justin Bieber, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner!
