Think you know Paris Hilton? Think again, because despite owning pink cars, tiny dogs and glittering party dresses, the heiress says we’ve got it all wrong – she’s really a tomboy!
“From watching me on the Simple Life for so long, people assume that’s who I am in real life, but that was just a fun character that I made up,” she told Hollyscoop at the premiere of her new show ‘The World According To Paris.’
But her new show promises to give fans an unfiltered glimpse of the real Paris Hilton, and while we might not spot her in dungarees by the lake, we will be seeing a lot more of what makes her tick.
“[It’s] an inside look into my life, my relationship, my family, friends and everything that happens on a daily basis. There’s a lot of laughs, tears, drama and fun,” she told RadarOnline. “Viewers are going to get to see the real me and get to see what it’s like to be me.”
And that includes biffs with her boyfriend, Cy Waits, who almost didn’t appear in the show!
Just like any other girl, I argue with my boyfriend,” Paris told E! News. "He's very camera shy. He doesn't like attention."
And when begging him didn’t work – Paris pulled in the big guns – her mum! "So I said 'Mom, will you please tell him to do it?' so of course, he listened to my mom," the heiress explained. "He knows how important it is to me. It's my real life so if he wasn't in it, it'd be weird."
She also assured fans that she hasn’t given up her dream of releasing another album!
“I’m still working on my album,” she told Hollyscoop. “I’ve changed the direction of it to house music so I’m redoing a lot of songs right now.”
